Tell me about your life before “fitness”, and the wake up call that turned your life around…
Well i was always active in sports and never stopped training, just my eating habits had to be changed. I was in college downing beers, eating pizza, training hard, working hard, I always had energy… just the reflection in the mirror didnt match up! I was trying to lose weight like most girls and was so frustrated and realized after reading alot of fitness models diets that I was dieting completely wrong and needed a change, so I entered a bodybuilding competition to get myself in shape with a deadline.

When most people start training, they have very little focus and tend to only do the “things they know.” When you first started training, did you focus more on weight training, cardio, or both?
When I started training, I started getting my hands on as much info as possible reading in my spare time. I learnt there are formulas to follow and if you stick with it the results are life-changing… a morph into what you want.

Can you tell us a bit about your diet, lifting and cardio routine?
I try to eat clean year-round. I have a diet of lean protein complex carbs and fiberous veggies. I lift one bodypart a day, and 30-40 minutes of cardio following weights. I have one day off a week for rest.

How often do you allow yourself cheat days or cheat meals, and what are your favorite cheat foods?
Once a week I allow myself to have a cheat day… I resist the urge to eat whatever and wait for that one day to have it… sometimes I cant wait for cheat day and eat what I want.. I don’t stress it unless Im on a deadline of a contest in which case Im very focused and don’t stray from my plan of attack.

Whats your favorite and least favorite bodypart to workout?
Hard to say… I love them all and I love to hate some other zeditexercises… soo maybe calves? I have a hard time growing them…

What is the most challenging thing you deal with about consistently staying top shape?
Friends. I have to sacrifice alot of my time and energy to training and staying away from unhealthy foods and de-stressing so that I can control my willpower. Sometimes friends can stress you out by not understanding where you’re coming from and give you a hard time… we all just want to be “normal” and fit in harmonuously, we dont think we’re superior if we have to save energy for the gym, or cant come to that late night party, or not drink the alcohol… its just a way of life that will get you results.

What’s your supplementation like? Anything you prefer to use?

  • Pretty much vitamins..
  • Mulitvitamin,
  • Ester-C, b-complex,
  • Omega fish oils,
  • Glucosamine/chonodrin, Co Q-10,
  • Whey protein after a workout

Any accomplishments you’d like to share with us?
I got my pro card in the WNSO Fame and Im Bodyproud and competing in my first pro-show this year.

What advice can you provide to younger lifters, female or male, so that they don’t waste precious time and wear out their bodies?
Take your time and remember, you build more muscle at home than at the gym! recover and eating right will get you the best results!

What are your goals for 2010?
To become a WWE Diva
